Transgender Day of Awareness: Celebrating Trans Joy in Our CommunityIn honor of International Transgender Day of Visibility, Macomb County Pride invites you to a community evening centered on connection, learning and celebrating trans voices.
What to expect:
Storytime — Real People, Real Stories — A panel of local trans and non-binary speakers will share their experiences — stories of joy, identity, career, art and life.
Guided Q&A session where questions will be read anonymously in a respectful and welcoming space.
The conversation will be moderated by Brooklyn Schlacht, Vice President of Macomb County Pride.Who is this for?
• Allies who want to learn but don’t know where to start
• Trans-youth parents
• Anyone who wants to listen, learn and support
Come as you are, meet community members, ask questions and be part of a welcoming space.
Where: Mount Clemens Public Library
When: Monday, March 30
